The Jeep brand‘s 'The J Challenge' contest is now online and open to all European web surfers - Italy, France, Spain, Germany, Poland and The Netherlands are the countries involved at launch stage. In undertaking five different challenges, all participants will have to affirm their uniqueness and search for their 'J factor', namely the factor that expresses their level of affinity to the Jeep brand's values. The game will take the users to test their skills through the activities they normally perform on the web and on the most important social networks, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, FourSquare, Google Maps and Tumblr.
Designed and developed by xister, the contest is also available at www.jeep-people.com and consists of five virtual challenges, each inspired by one of the Jeep values: uniqueness, passion, adventure, freedom and authenticity.
Each player will have his own ‘customised' page where he will be able to view and file the results achieved during the different game sessions. At the end of each session, the system will automatically assign to each participant a score calculated according to his affinity with the Jeep values. At this point, the user will have several days to increase his score by sharing the video content generated at the end of each challenge. These ‘short movies' will be chapters of a personal story that focuses on each single user and his adventure on the trail of a mysterious legendary creature. A unique journey in which every participant will bring on board Jeep Wrangler Arctic his passions and longing for an authentic Jeep experience.
The contest features two different prize-giving stages - the first one, which will take place at a national level, will have as winner the user that, in each country, will successfully overcome the five challenges and score the highest result. The national champions will win the participation to the 'J Day': a full-day spent on the Jeep off-road Track of the Balocco Proving Grounds in Italy, where they will have the opportunity to test-drive the iconic Jeep Wrangler. During the J Day, the winners from the different European Countries will participate to the final draw for the new Jeep Wrangler Arctic special edition model.
