Yamaha's XT1200Z Super Tenere is a real world motorcycle that is capable of crossing continents. Its DNA lies with four decades of rally raiding.
In March this year, Yamaha will pander to this sports focused side by launching the Worldcrosser which was first seen
as a concept at Motorcycle Live in 2010.
A limited edition model with all the benefits of the now established XT1200Z Super Tenere including Traction Control, ABS, linked brakes and shaft drive, this rugged high-performance parallel-twin comes equipped with a range of specially developed high-specification chassis and bodywork parts designed to enhance its 'go-anywhere' abilities.
Its list of exclusive lightweight carbon components includes sidepanels, fork protectors and frame guards - and for extra protection off-road, the Super Tenere Worldcrosser is equipped with a skid plate, drive shaft shield and rear brake protector manufactured from black anodised aluminium.
Offered with two exclusive graphic options - black speedblock with yellow gold accents, as well as red speedblock with red accents - this top-of-therange adventure bike opens up a whole new world of possibilities.
The Yamaha Worldcrosser will have a retail price of £12,999 (excluding road fund licence and first registration fee).
