Tommy Hill launches limited edition WaveRunner celebrating 50th anniversary of GP racing

Tullet Prebon London International Boat Show - British Superbike Champion, Tommy Hill, today unveiled a limited edition WaveRunner which continues the celebration of Yamaha's racing heritage.

The World Grand Prix WaveRunner is the
on-water embodiment of the Yamaha racing spirit. Resplendent in the red, white and black 50th anniversary colours, the WGP WaveRunner looks impressive on or off the water.

The fastest superbike rider in the UK looked at home in the saddle of the WGP WaveRunner which is based on the VXR and features Yamaha Motor's 1,812 cc marine engine, the largest displacement engine ever in a production watercraft.

Tommy also confirmed that customers purchasing a WGP WaveRunner will receive a pair of VIP tickets to a British Superbike round in 2012 courtesy of the Championship winning Swan Yamaha team.

Your local Yamaha WaveRunner dealer is taking orders of the craft now (£13,499 SRP) and Yamaha Motor UK have warned they expect demand to outstrip the limited edition run!
