Sunday 26 August, 2012.
Celebrating over 50 years of engineering heritage and set in the beautiful landscape of the Deer Park on the Eastnor Castle estate in Herefordshire, the show is a fantastic event for Land Rover and four-wheeled drive enthusiasts to come together.
Eastnor Land Rover Show organiser Mark Woodward said, “I’m delighted to bring a new Land Rover show to Eastnor Castle. The two have very close links spanning over half a century and there isn’t a more suitable setting for such a show.”
Featuring displays of historic vehicles from clubs around the UK and Europe the Eastnor Land Rover Show is the place to cast your eye over some of the finest examples or this iconic British marque, including rare and prototype models.
All the big names in the trade will come together to form the Retail Village and Autojumble, so whether you’re searching for that elusive part, some extra tools to complete a restoration project or a new accessory for your favourite 4x4, you’re sure to find everything you need.
The Live Action Arena, hosted by Land Rover personality Diana Tigwell, will be bursting with entertainment throughout the weekend including Land Rover parades, interactive games, demonstrations and much more to keep the whole family entertained.
If you need some assistance or support on your vehicle rebuild then why not talk to the experts in Restoration Zone. See vehicles in various states of repair and exchange stories on the trials and tribulations of getting the 4x4’s back on the road. Features include demonstrations in restoration and maintenance techniques to help you on your way.
Land Rover Experience is opening up its off road course in the grounds of Eastnor for you to drive your own vehicle, as part of a surpervised convoy, on the same terrain used by Land Rover itself to fine-tune new products prior to general launch. It’s your turn to be part of that history as the experts show you how to navigate the mysteries of the woodland.
