SAEINDIA, a professional society of automotive engineers with a vision to continuously enrich the knowledge base of Engineers and students, today announced that it will showcase All-Terrain Racing Vehicles (ATVs) at the upcoming Delhi Auto Expo 2012.

All-Terrain Racing Vehicles has been designed and developed by engineering college students across India at the national event, BAJA SAEINDIA. This BAJA initiative is an educational pursuit for the students, which now enters the 5th year of its Indian edition. With new technologies, high tech electronics and drive train systems, the All-Terrain Racing Vehicle boosts of acceleration, manoeuvrability, hill climb and endurance.
BAJA is supported by a number of corporate houses and the 5th edition of the event will take place in Indore between 17-19 February, 2012, wherein Mahindra is leading this initiative.
Speaking on the upcoming Auto Expo, Dr. Pawan Goenka, President, Automotive & Farm Equipment Sectors, Mahindra & Mahindra said, “Innovation and ideas are the benchmark of young India, as is evident in the display of the All-Terrain Vehicles at the Auto Expo. These eco-friendly aerodynamic automobiles which are created by college student teams, give the budding engineers the opportunity to showcase their talent to large number of professionals within the Automotive Industry. I am sure that in times to come Indian students will compete with the very best globally through the BAJA forum."
